About
I am a physical geographer and geomorphologist with a focus in hydrology and paleoclimate to understand drivers and effects of hydrologic hazards. My research takes a paleo-perspective to
examine long-term flood and drought variability, with the goal of better predicting river response to shifting climate and environmental conditions. Aligned with ACRE's mission, my work centers on building resilient communities and advancing disaster mitigation in the face of an increasingly extreme hydrologic system. My research projects include field investigations, laboratory analyses of sediments, and a range of hydraulic and hydrologic modeling techniques.
